Multi-phase stone buildings showing as parchmarks, immediately to the NE of the fort. View from S.. The focus of the vicus settlement (probably the small town of Germisara) lay on the flatter ground to the north east of the fort, though the cluster of buildings began immediately beyond its eastern rampart.
